The students took part in the final round of our annual speech competition this afternoon! The topics were varied, diverse, and engaging. The audience was captivated by such topics as why Donald Trump would make a bad president, why parents are annoying, the power of perseverance, and the importance of animal rights.
Congratulations to Mansirat on his third place finish on his topic Is Science to Blame for War? Finishing second was Emilio with his take on why video games are beneficial to cognitive development. Finally, Olivia took first place with her thesis on how Barbie dolls are a major contributor to body image insecurities.
Great job everyone! You were heard loud and clear!
