Washington Day Three - Lincoln Museum

We have spent the morning on President Lincoln, and I must say, a morning is not enough. An amazing man, and this country knows how to revere one of their greatest heroes. After the Ford's Theatre play, we went across the street to visit the house where Lincoln was taken after the shooting and lived the final hours of his life. The home has been converted into a fantastic museum filled with artifacts and information on the president, his life, death, and legacy.

The picture is a tower of several stories of existing books on Lincoln (not the Civil War, not American History - just Lincoln). There are 15,000 books!
