Today the Zoners ventured to Casa Loma for an unbelievable lesson of history of the home itself, Toronto, and well as the World Wars (Casa Loma contains an intriguing collection of World War relics and artifacts on the third floor).

From the social history of a working class family at the turn of the 20th Century, to the outbreak of the war and beyond (and how it effected Canadians all across the country), the students were totally engaged in their guided tour - particularly during the ghost stories!

Although there are battlements atop the walls, Casa Loma is not an actual castle, as it was not built with the fortifications to withstand a military assault.
