In the spring of each year at Tall Pines School, parents are invited to see the very special performances their children prepare for them.

The Casa production showcases the singing talents of our Toddler, Casa and SK students. Children are often in costume, performing numbers that they have been working on in their Music programs.

The Elementary students then have their opportunity to shine.
Students from Grade 1 to 8 participate in musical skits, band ensemble and choral work, presented on stage for their parents.

In addition, students in Grades 5 to 8 present the annual school musical. Semi-professional costumes and sets are used, and the Pearson Theatre in Brampton is rented, to give the students a really authentic theatrical experience.

In 2018, the students worked all year to present Mary Poppins. In previous years, we have presented The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Camp Rock, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, High School Musical, Grease, Aladdin, The Music Man, Annie, The Mikado, Pirates of Penzance, and a number of other well known musicals. It is a sincere joy to see students grow into their roles as the year progresses. This is teamwork at its best. Students gain in confidence, self-presentation, poise, and artistic talent through their experiences as cast members. It is a sheer delight to enjoy their enthusiasm at performance time.
